We honor the outstanding coaches and athletes who have left an indelible mark on the sports history of Ocean Springs. Established to celebrate excellence and achievement in athletics, the Hall of Fame recognizes those who have demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and dedication on the playing fields and gymnasiums of our community.

Nomination Process for 2024

Nominations for the 2024 Ocean Springs Sports Hall of Fame will open on May 1st. We invite you to submit nominations for individuals who have made significant contributions to sports in Ocean Springs. Nominees must have been out of high school for at least 10 years to be eligible.

What to Include in Your Nomination

When nominating a candidate, please provide detailed information that highlights their accomplishments and why they deserve to be inducted. This may include:

  • Statistics: Career statistics or records achieved in their sport.
  • Awards: Notable sports awards or recognitions received.
  • Contributions: Impact on their team, sport, or community through leadership, sportsmanship, or other notable contributions.

Nomination submissions should be emailed to moc.liamgobfsctd@1744drawd. All nominations will be reviewed and voted on by a committee of 10 community members who serve on the Hall of Fame committee.

Continuous Consideration

If a nominee is not selected for induction in the current year, their nomination will remain on file and be considered in future years. This ensures that deserving candidates receive fair and ongoing evaluation.
